AbstractThis paper is about learning strategies. An exploratory study was undertaken to investigate the use of strategies in learning English by students at three levels of formal schooling. The results suggest that there is a need for teachers to consciously seek ways of improving their students’ strategy use so that they can be more efficient learners.
